Fashion Press Releases & Editorial Brand Communications

There’s an art to a great fashion press release. Journalists need clear information, a strong angle and a story they can quickly understand and communicate to their audience.

I work with fashion, luxury and design brands to develop press materials that feel editorial, informed and culturally aware. My approach combines fashion knowledge, technical understanding and two decades of experience writing across luxury, craftsmanship and design.

From collection launches to designer profiles and Fashion Week communications, I help brands shape narratives that translate creative vision into clear, engaging copy.

Developing Stories Journalists Can Use

Fashion journalists receive hundreds of press releases every week. The strongest ones communicate a clear story from the opening paragraph and give editors key information without off-putting marketing language.

My work centres on identifying the most compelling angle within a collection, brand or project and developing a narrative that feels focused, informed and editorial. This can involve interpreting technical processes, contextualising references, refining fragmented creative ideas into a coherent story, or translating specialist fashion language into accessible consumer-facing copy.

I have written press releases and brand communications for labels including 7 For All Mankind, Peggy Hartanto, Pras the Bandit and Hand & Lock. Resulting coverage and media engagement has included Hypebeast, Vogue, Marie Claire and the BBC.

My particular area of expertise lies in luxury fashion, craftsmanship, embroidery and textile-led storytelling. I understand how fashion concepts move from studio development into public communication, and how to present technical information in a way that remains clear, engaging and journalist-friendly.

Alongside press releases, I can also support with collection texts, exhibition copy, founder biographies, interview preparation, campaign messaging and broader brand storytelling.
